[The recording starts with a sharp intake of a breath through his teeth.]

Well, blimey, pop-off for a year and a half and look what happens...

Of course, that's assuming it's been that long--probably hasn't knowing this place. Of course, not that I know this place much to begin with--thought I was starting to make some progress with that, but now, must admit, I'm more confused than ever. But that's not important right now...

[The Doctor's voice goes quiet and serious. He's seen the state of the city in his search for a journal.]

What happened?

Knew I forgot something when last left the TARDIS... No, sorry, didn't disappear, much as I'm sure some of you might've hoped. Haven't gotten rid of me yet!

SO!

Did I miss anything good while I was gone?

sir_doctor: (How do I explain this)
Has anyone seen--er, hold on a tick, I can't really say that, can I? Given the current situation and all. Let me try that again...

Has anyone spoken to a certain nun by the name of Rosette recently? She seems to have gone missing, and I haven't seen her say anything on here, which is a bit odd. I'd imagine she'd have a lot to say about the current, er, weather. So to speak.

Unless she's gone and disappeared on me. Wouldn't be the first time someone had...

Anyways, if anyone does happen to hear from her, let me know?

((ooc: Ah I shoulda said, this is dated back to when things first went dark. |D ))

Question

sir_doctor: (Peek-a-boo!)
So, I have a little problem that I'm wondering if someone can help me with. In the TARDIS I have a trunk. It's good trunk. Had it some time now. Rather fond of it, but I have a problem. I seem to have lost the key and it's a deadlock seal. Can't open it with the sonic screwdriver. Wouldn't be a very safe trunk to keep things in if I could do that, would it?

Now, there's something I need inside it that can't really wait, so I was wondering if there's any locksmiths about? It would need to be talented one, because it's an unusual lock. Very large, and needs quite a large key.

So, yes, if there's someone out there who thinks they could open it, do drop me a line as soon as you can? Thanks much!
sir_doctor: (Oh yes... uh... hello!)
So about that trip to the church?

Seems my schedule's opened up, so if it's not too late, I wouldn't mind coming along, if you both wouldn't mind?

If not, well I'll just have to look forward to that cuppa tea in the meanwhile, I suppose.

Let me know either way.

A Journal!

sir_doctor: (Shoes Up)
So, wow! A journal! How amusing. I think I might have used to keep one. I wonder where it went...

Oh right! So, Paixao. I rather like how that rolls off the tongue. Pie-zow... Not the usual way I'd pronounce it though. It's Portuguese for "Passion", am I right? Someone had a lot of passion to build this place. I have to hand it to them, the architecture is absolutely beautiful!

So, I can't help but wonder, what's causing all these people to be pulled from different places and times, and brought here? Why here? What's so special about this place? Well, other than the architecture.

There wasn't any warning... didn't detect any temporal anomalies... wasn't near any wormholes... nothing like that came up on the scanners before hand. Mind you, the TARDIS was a fair bit damaged on my last trip to Earth there... could have missed something I suppose, but the ol' girl would have recorded something.

I actually find this all rather baffling! Fancy that! There is definitely... something off about this place though... hmm...

Oh, and by the way, someone also might want to have a look at the weather system. That was some rather bizzare weather.
